ZEPDON?
ZEPDON contains the active substance raltegravir and as an antiviral drug affects against human immunodeficiency viruses (HIV).
HOW
ZEPDON WORKS?

INDICATION FOR USE?
ZEPDON are used in the treatment of adult and
pediatric patients who are infected with HIV, with a body weight of at least 40
kg
WHAT
ARE WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS THAT YOU SHOULD BE INFORMED OF?
- Psychic Problems
Tell your doctor if you have depression or psychiatric illness. - Bone Diseases
Some patients with combined antiretroviral therapy, an osteonecrosis can be developed. - Liver Disease
Inform you doctor if you have had a previous a liver disorder including hepatitis B or C.
- Transferring HIV To Other People
HIV infection is transmitted through contact with an infected person through blood or sexual contact with a person infected with HIV. HIV can be transmitted even while you are taking this medicine. - Infections
Inform you doctor if you have immediately if you notice any of the symptoms of infection, such as fever and/or a general feeling of weakness. - Muscular Disorders
Immediately contact your doctor if you experience unexplained muscle pain, sensitivity or weakness during therapy - Skin Disorders
Talk to your doctor immediately if you get a rash.

AND THE USE OF OTHER MEDICINES?
You
should inform your doctor if you have
recently taken or will Take some of the following medicines:
- Antacid (drugs that suppress or neutralize
acid in the stomach
- Atazanavir
- Rifampicin
- Tipranavir/ Ritonavir
The USE OF ZEPDON IN PREGNANCY AND BREASTFEEDING IS NOT RECOMMENDED
Driving
and machine handling:
Do not drive or use machines if you feel
dizzy after taking this medicine
HOW IS ZEPDON PRESCRIBED?
Adults, children, and adolescents :
The recommended dose is 400 mg , once a day, orally, regardless of the intake of food or drink.
Swallow the whole tablet.
WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT SIDE EFFECTS?

Immediately contact your doctor if you notice any of the following conditions:
- Herpes infections, including herpes zoster
- Anemia,
- Infection or inflammation
- Mental disorder
- Intention or attempted suicide
- Stomach inflammation
- Liver insufficiency
- Allergic rash
- Kidneys disorder
- Reduction of appetite
- Sleeping disorders
- Vertigo
- Stomach pain; diarrhea; gases in the
stomach or intestines; nausea; vomiting
- Tiredness, unusual fatigue or malathion;
fever
- Inflammation
of the upper respiratory tract,
- lymph nodes
abscess, swollen glands on the neck, under the armpits
- Diabetes; increase in cholesterol
- Significant
weight loss
- Anxiety; depression; mood swings;
- Pain in the hands of the pressure of the
nerve;
- A headache with a feeling of constant pressure, tremor

- Irregular heartbeat and high blood pressure
